Sure you can buy frozen fruit, but when your favorite expression blend fruits are in season then always go fresh. While pineapple is my favorite, I love blueberries, bananas, kiwifruit, strawberries, mango, grapes, raspberries and mango. You can blend fruits in savory soups as well as smoothies and frozen desserts. I blend these fruits weekly in my Vitamix.
Papaya and Mango not only taste great but Papaya is an excellent source for aiding digestion both fruits are great for the skin. I love both of these for expression blending due to their unique perfume and flavors that add character to smoothie creation in the Vitamix.
Low in calories, high in fiber and high in water content help make kale an excellent source in your weight loss goals. Due to it's mild flavor it's excellent for blending in smoothies, soups and juicing. Blends so smooth in the Vitamix you won't know it's there, except that it's green!
Carrots are rich in beta-carotene which is converted to Vitamin A in the body. Carrots promote good vision and a healthy immune system. I blend carrots in my Vitamix for thickening soups, making carrot juice and can be shredded in the Vitamix Dry Container for making cakes.
An excellent source of many essential vitamins and minerals. Potassium, Iron, Vitamin C and B Vitamins just to name a few. Can be consumed steamed or in raw form, Beet Root blends perfectly for soups, smoothies or savory drinks in the Vitamix.
Wheatgrass is rich in Chlorophyll, Antioxidants, Amino Acids, Electrolytes, Iron and Selenium. Also rich in Vitamins A, C and E. Cut a few strands to blend in your green smoothie or to create a juice. When detoxing using my Vitamix I love adding Wheatgrass to many of my healthy recipes.

Matcha Powder.: Made from green tea plants. It's rich in antioxidants. Makes excellent Green Tea Match Frappe's in any Vitamix.
Acai Powder: High fiber freeze-dried acai berries. A superfood that is dense in amino acids, antioxidants and anti-aging properties. Grown in Central and South America. Makes a delicious base for expression smoothie bowls created in the Vitamix blender.
Flaxseed: A plant-based seed that contains omega-3 fatty acids. Blends great in the Vitamix for breakfast smoothies.
Chia Seeds: A powerful source of omega-3 fatty acids and fiber. Adds a nice crunch topping to expression smoothie bowls or used to thicken blended drinks.
Basil: A naturally aromatic herb plant. Adds a nice perfume to blended savory soups and holiday recipes.
