1-1/2 Pounds (680 g) Asparagus Spears, Cooked (Reserve 1 Cup (180 g) Pieces For Garnish)
1-1/2 Cups (360 ml) Chicken Broth
1/8 Teaspoon Salt
1/8 Teaspoon Black Pepper
1/2 Cup (120 ml) Heavy Cream
(1) Place asparagus, chicken broth, salt and pepper into the Vitamix container and secure the lid
(2) Select Variable Speed 1
(3) Switch machine to Start and slowly increase speed to Variable 10
(4) Blend for 3-1/2 minutes or until smooth
(5) Reduce speed to Variable 1 and remove the lid plug. Pour in heavy cream thought the lid plug opening
(6) Slowly increase speed to Variable 8 and blend for an additional 30 seconds. Serve immediately over reserved asparagus pieces.
